Saying Yes

I have a husband. I have 6 energetic kids. My amazing husband, Gabe, and I have figured out how (by the grace of God!) to manage our small circus. But sometimes when people get comfortable in life, it gets hard to take risks, even if the benefits are amazing. It's not always easy to say "yes" to things that require a complete change in lifestyle. In August 2018 we took a leap of faith and committed to volunteering at an orphanage in Mexico for a year. Gabe was able to take a year sabbatical from his job as a teacher, which made this move a little less scary, but it was still overwhelming! However, by stepping out of our comfort zone we stepped into a ministry that nobody else was able to fill like we could. We loved it so much, we are making it our permanent home in July 2020. This is God's Will for our family, of that I am sure. God is with us every step of the way, helping to knit together all of the details for this adventure. "Yes" feels amazing and I can't wait to share our stories with everyone along the way!
